Summary: Very basic advice
Comment: Offers nonsensical advice such as "work hard to get a good ranking is the search engines"... and also keeps promoting the same few affiliate programs which leads me to believe the author has dealings with those companies. You can get a lot of the advice for free from various websites.
Only for total novices who don't know anything about the net.

Summary: nice start, needs to go to the next level
Comment: This is a good book that initiates what many marketers should do. It outlines the process of creating an affiliate program, but lacks some of the depth into how to go about doing it, and what should be beneath the surface of a successful program.I would suggest Make Your Website Work For You, and also Killer Content to fill in the gaps.

Summary: Why ration the passion?
Comment: Dan calls this "a complete guide", but only has one paragraph on multilevel affiliate programs. Most of us go to our graves with our music still in us. When the average adult in their 30's or 40's passes on it's the equivalent of an entire public library being burned to the ground. Legitimate multilevel marketing companies such as AllAdvantage have a unique "teachtoteach" way of showing everybody all over the earth, if you will just somehow get busy at any level, and share what you do know, it will solidify and increase rapidly. The power of death and life are in the tongue. There are too many sad people in this world afraid of technology. Psychologists say if you can just give a person a good enough reason to somehow get involved in something and they do, you can raise there success level enough to get them committed and more involved. When you recruit from the getgo by sharing from what little you do know (and lose the ego), you internalize and articulate what you teach much faster. Service is what gives us meaning and purpose and perpetuates our self concept and the human race. The involvement of the internet belongs to the masses. Today is Easter. It reminds me that even common men can become "fishers of men". It's the message, not the messenger that counts most. It was Andrew who finally "recruited" Peter to speak to Jesus. Mark my words, in the coming years "multilevel-affiliate" programs, with or without Dan's book will play a dramatic role in disseminating internet marketing knowledge to the poor and disadvanteged of the 4 corners of the earth that is now only in the hands of a few.
