Comment: We often use this AC adapter to listen to our downloaded MP3s on our new Garmin nuvi 760. It has not only turned out to be quite handy, but we plan to use the European/UK adapters for when to travel to Scotland later this year.

Comment: This item does exactly what you would expect. Recharges your Garmin Nuvi in the comfort of your home (or anywhere else with an electrical outlet.) It even comes with adapters for foreign power outlets. What I didn't know when I ordered it was that it isn't really necessary if you have a computer. The supplied USB download cable also allows you to charge your Nuvi through your computers USB port. While I don't know if there is a difference in recharge times, it is possible to save $15 or $20 bucks and charge with the USB cable.
