Comment: OMG... WORST CRAP EVER... I GUESS NOBODY HERE HAS HEARD THE GIRL LIVE.. I WALKED OUT OF THIS CONCERT(AND MY TICKETS WERE FREE} ALONG WITH A FEW HUNDRED PEOPLE... AWFUL.. AND THE ONLY SONG THAT IS HALF GOOD IS GOOD GOOD... UMM GUESS SHE NEEDS TO SING ABOUT HER "GOOD GOODS"..BECAUSE ALL HER CDS ARE BAD BAD... AND I HAVE MET THIS SKANK IN PERSON.. THEY MUST HAVE AIRBRUSHED THE HELL OUT OF THIS COVER... OR USED A BODY DOUBLE.. ANYWAYS IF YOU DO BUY THIS .. IT MAKES A NICE COASTER FOR YOUR COCKTAILS... BAD BAD...

Comment: I love Ashanti and I couldn't wait until this album was released. Not to be negative, but I Kinda knew this album wouldn't have sold like her previous efforts. Ashanti's record sales began to decline ever since her sophmore album "Chapter II" was released in 2003; which was also a very competitive year for female arists.

I do however love "The Declaration" and I think it was a great album. Ashanti took a chance and worked with other producers; such as Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri, Babyface, Akon, and Mario Winans. I also noticed that Ashanti's vocals have improved tremendously on this album.

This album was great and could've been successful if the promotion behind it was stronger. This album is great and you won't regret your purchase.

Comment: ashanti is finally doing songs without ja fool with nelly the sex kitten is out and this is an upgrade then her previous work still she's like the black brit not muich on vocals still a decent cd though.

Comment: What else can i say, I love me some Ashanti and i will purchase anything she puts out. Besides being a Beautiful Black Woman, she also has a decent voice, not great, but decent. And to me she is oozing with sex appeal. Yes i am a huge fan and i hope she's around for many years to come.

Comment: This was my first Ashanti Cd and I really liked it. Some songs are a little mellow, some you can groove this and some are just for listening. Ashanti seems to be branching out with her music and this CD is getting a lot of play lately!
