When not in use, I have it in this case and feel fine tossing it into the console in my vehicle where it knocks around with the other miscellany in there. The price is a lot lower than the official Tom Tom case and there are better colors to choose from. It's easy to slip this in my purse or put it in my glove box and it holds everything securely. Comment: It's a great carry case for my TOMTOM 3rd Edition. I got it in black nylon.It fits in fine and protects it well. The microfiber cloth that comes with it is great for cleaning the screen with. The LCD screen protector does not interfere with the touch screen or touch screen sensitivity at all. You do have to cut the LCD screen protector to fit your own TOMTOM because all the GPS that fit in this case has a different screen size. Cutting it is easy b/c it comes with a clear grid sheet that you can peel off after cutting. I don't use the carabiner clip but I'm sure it comes in handy for some people. It comes with a inside pocket and the USB cord fits. BUT the inside pocket does not hold the car charger b/c there is not enough room. Personally, I leave the car charger in the glove compartment.
